Four key Spurs defenders face fitness tests ahead of Burnley clash

The physios will be busy right up until kick-off attempting to ensure some of Mauricio Pochettino’s key men are back available.

Defenders Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth and Kieran Trippier are all facing late fitness tests.

Poch will be hoping all of them pass with flying colours as he looks to ensure his side regain focus after their midweek Champions League heroics.

Meanwhile Burnley have some injury worries of their own with Steven Defour and Johann Berg Gudmundsson highly doubtful.

Defour has missed the last two matches with a calf problem.

And Gudmundsson limped off during the second half of last weekend's victory over Brighton because of a hamstring problem.

Defender Stephen Ward (knee) and goalkeeper Nick Pope (shoulder) both remain sidelined.

Spurs predicted XI: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Sissoko, Dier, Winks, Lamela, Kane, Lucas

Burnley predicted XI: Hart, Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Gudmundsson, Westwood, Cork, Brady, Wood, Barnes
