Fans baffled by Arsenal star Kai Havertz’s bizarre moment on Germany duty as they say 'I wanted to jump in the telly' | The Sun
FANS were left baffled by a bizarre Kai Havertz moment during Germany's loss to Turkey on Saturday night.
The Arsenal midfielder has come under the microscope since his move to the Emirates this summer.
Gunners supporters have grown frustrated with his lack of goal contributions given his £65m price tag.
And Germans fans could empathise after a strange passage of play in the friendly defeat.
When receiving a pass from Ilkay Gundogan in midfield, Havertz took one touch before deciding to just shield the ball and watch it go out of play.
Turkey subsequently won a throw-in and the Germans had lost possession in a tightly fought match that was 2-2 at the time.

Fans watching from home couldn't believe what they had just seen and were racking their brains trying to understand what Havertz was trying to do.
His decision didn't move the ball forward for Germany, it didn't retain possession and it didn't have any kind of noticeable intent.
Some fans took to social media to try and wrap their heads around what they had just witnessed.
One wrote: "He was just as confused as I am now."

While another added: "I was irritated watching him do this."
One fan suggested that he has done similar things for Arsenal this season and it had made them so mad they wanted to do something about it.
They wrote: "He has done this like twice in an Arsenal shirt I wanted to jump the telly."
It wasn't a particularly familiar night for Havertz who was actually being played as a left-back by Julian Nagelsmann for the first time in his career.
And it was a mixed showing for the 24-year-old who got himself on the score sheet just five minutes into the game.
But then played his part in what was a disappointing 3-2 loss come the final whistle with Turkey turning things around.
Away from international duty Havertz has now made 19 appearances for Arsenal scoring just one goal and registering one assist so far for Mikel Arteta's side.
