SEB FURY OVER BRIT GP LITTER
F1 fans have hailed Sebastian Vettel for staying late to help out at last week's British GP – to clear up "shocking" litter
Motorsport lovers on Twitter called the Aston Martin star a "legend" for setting an "excellent example" after he admitted his "anger" at the huge amount of rubbish dumped in the stands.
The German told Sky Sports: "Clearly people don't do that at home. I haven't been to everyone's home in the UK but I don't think people act like this at home.
"So I don't understand. Why do it (at the GP? It's one of the few things that makes me angry."

MAX: WE'LL FIX IT
Max Verstappen insists Red Bull can overcome technical problems after he was third behind Mercedes' dup in Hungarian second practice.
The Belgian Dutch driver said: "A lot of things to look into but nothing shocking. There is nothing too big to overcome.
"Just not an easy day in general with the track temperatures like this so we will look into everything."

VERSTAPPEN UNHAPPY
World championship leader Max Verstappen bemoaned technical problems as the Red Bull ace was beaten by the Mercedes duo in second practice at the Hungarian GP.
Verstappen complained "so understeer-y it's incredible" on his radio.
Then on his race simulation run he fumed: "All the time I try to turn I'm losing the rear."
Verstappen had his front wing adjusted but continued to lag behind Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton on the long run.

HAMILTON HAILS 'GREAT START'
Lewis Hamilton was content to be pipped by Valtteri Bottas in a Mercedes one-two in second practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Britain's world champion said: "It doesn't really feel great in terms of the grip is poor and we are sliding around – I guess because we are overheating as soon as we leave the pit lane.
"But to see Valtteri and I on the front row pace-wise is great for the team and we will only improve on that
"Got some work to do overnight to finesse the car but it's a good start."

FINNISH SAUNA
Mercedes star Valtteri Bottas overcame the heat in Hungary to top second practice
Bottas said: “Honestly, it feels like being in a Finnish sauna – it’s a good comparison especially when you stop running, you get the heat.
“It’s way more than 60 degrees, 70 degrees in the cockpit. It’s sweaty but out on track at least you get a bit of air.
“It gets a bit tricky with the tyres, overheating, but honestly it didn’t look or feel too bad compared to the others, so I don’t think it was a bad start for us today"

VERSTAPPEN REACTS
Red Bull star Max Verstappen is not surprised by the gap to Mercedes in FP2.
Verstappen said: “No – I mean it’s nothing too big to overcome, just in general it’s not been an easy day with track temperatures like this, so we’ll analyse everything.
“[There were] a few adjustments we were trying from FP1 to FP2 so just need to look into which things worked, which things didn’t.
“[We still need to improve] especially over one-lap and also long run, so a lot of things to look into. But nothing shocking”

RUNNING ORDER
Here's the the classification of the weekend's second session:

ANOTHER CLOSE ONE AT THE 'RING
It is all delicately poised in Hungary as there is not much between the top three.
It is likely to remain close all weekend, but the weather could play a part.
- Kostas Lianos
CHEQUERED FLAG IS UP
Tsunoda's one lap puts him into 17th place whereas Bottas ends Practice Two atop the timesheet, 0.027s ahead of Hamilton.
Practice One pacesetter Verstappen has to settle for third, 0.298s off Bottas' best time.
- Ben Hunt
FP3 IS DONE
Bottas leads the way but just 0.027seconds ahead of Hamilton.
Verstappen in P3. Ocon P4, Perez P5.
- Ben Hunt
DIFFICULT DAY FOR McLAREN
Norris in 9th. Ricciardo in 13th.
- Ben Hunt
LAP TIMES TUMBLING
Bottas leads Hamilton and then Verstappen as the top three. I said this before but this is very close between Red Bull and Merc.
It is difficult to call who will be on pole position.
- Ben Hunt
APPROACHING THE HALFWAY STAGE
And it is Bottas, Hamilton, Ocon, Gasly, Vettel, Stroll, Verstappen.
But the Red Bull man is doing his long runs in a heavier car.
- Ben Hunt
ALFA LOOKING QUICK…
In a straight line at least.
- Ben Hunt
CARLOS SAINZ WAS QUICK IN FP1
But teammate Charles Leclerc goes in too hot into FP2.
- Ben Hunt
GREEN LIGHT IN THE PITLANE AND FP2 IS GO
Can Merc hit back or will Verstappen increase his advantage?
- Ben Hunt
ALL DONE – MAX TOPS THE TIMESHEETS
Advantage Red Bull, but it is only a slender one, as Bottas and Hamilton are breathing down Verstappen's neck.
- Ben Hunt
FOUR MINUTES TO GO
And it is closer than I thought. Just 0.061 seconds between Verstappen in P1 and Bottas in P2. This is encouraging for drama tomorrow in the shootout for pole.
- Ben Hunt
SESSION HAS RESTARTED AND HAMILTON AND VERSTAPPEN NEARLY HIT EACH OTHER
They almost collide in the pitlane, as both exit their garages at the same time. No damage done.
- Ben Hunt
RED FLAG – SESSION STOPPED AS TSUNODA CRASHES
The AlphaTauri man has a spin into the barriers. It is a big impact but he is ok.
- Ben Hunt
ICYMI THIS WAS HAMILTON ON HIS SILVERSTONE MOVE WHEN I ASKED HIM YESTERDAY
I asked the world champion straight up if he would do it again. His reply was: “In terms of the move, I’d do the move exactly the way I did it last time.
"In terms of how I reviewed it, analysed it, and with all my experience, and over the years I have been through a lot, I wouldn’t change it."
- Ben Hunt
BUDAPEST – WHAT A PLACE, WHAT A CIRCUIT!
If you have never been, then you should add it on the bucket list. This is a mega track in an even better city.
The Hungaroring is an old school track, twisty but with overtaking points and plenty of elevation changes.
Never knew much about the latter until running the track, especially the last sector.
Anyway, I digress. This place has served up drama in the past and promises to do the same.
Whether you are Team Hamilton or Team Verstappen, itis going to be a cracker come Sunday.
- Ben Hunt
VERSTAPPEN SETTING THE EARLY PACE
He's angry, sore and determined to make up for lost points. If you missed his press conference yesterday, Verstappen was still scathing over Hamilton's move hat caused him to crash at Silverstone.
He is out for revenge and looks in good form, 0.7 seconds quicker than Bottas in P2.
- Ben Hunt
BIG SPIN FOR ALONSO
The birthday boy loses control of his Alpine and spins off track. The Spaniard, who is 40 this weekend, is back in the pits.
- Kostas Lianos
PRACTICE ONE
Verstappen has joined the action on the track and is up and running on the timesheet already – 1:19.725, to take an early P1 spot.
Meanwhile, Hamilton's team-mate Bottas told the Mercedes teamthe "brake pedal is terribly soft".
They responded that it should get better soon
