Cristiano Ronaldo 'calls James Rodriguez to convince him to join Juventus in summer'

Spanish newspaper Marca claims the good friends could be reunited in Turin this summer when Rodriguez’s Bayern Munich loan comes to an end.

Ronaldo is loving life at Juventus after joining them from Real Madrid after last year’s World Cup.

And Rodriguez could now be set to follow in the Portuguese’s path when he returns to the Bernabeu at the end of the season.

It’s reckoned Juventus are seeking a new No 10, as SunSport understands Paulo Dybala is a target for Los Blancos.

And Rodriguez could be set to try his luck in Serie A after failing to find his best form in Germany.

A transfer to Juventus could trigger a chain of transfers, with Real looking to make new signings.

Los Blancos’ top target is understood to be Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, who is out of contract in 2020.

The Blues could be set to receive unhappy playmaker Isco in return, as well as current loan star Mateo Kovacic.

While Bayern Munich, Rodriguez’s current club, are confident of sealing a £45million deal for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.
