    CHAIN REACTION

Jake Paul has sent Dustin Poirier his $100,000 custom-made Sleep McGregor chain – just days after having it made.

The YouTuber turned boxer had the £73,000 diamond-encrusted accessory made last week ahead of Poirier's trilogy fight with Conor McGregor, which he won via first-round TKO.

The outrageous piece of jewellery came with a pendant depicting a knocked out McGregor after his second-round loss to The Diamond in January.

And the pricey chain, along with a heartfelt note from Paul, is now on its way to the former interim UFC lightweight champion

The note read: "Dear Dustin."Congrats for your much earned victory. I love what you are doing with your Good Fight Foundation!

"You deserve this chain more than me! Good always beats evil! Keep winning! Love Jake. "P.S Tell Jolie I said Hi – She’s a badass!"

    INCOGNITO

Jake Paul had a front-row view for Conor McGregor's loss to Dustin Poirier last weekend – but nobody noticed the YouTube star in the crowd.

During the latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake's brother Logan said: "When I walked in, I said to one of the UFC reps, 'Hey, is my brother here?'

"And she looks at me and she turned white. She goes, 'You brother's coming?' I go, 'I don't know.' She goes, 'F**k.' And I go, 'I don't think he's got anything planned.'

"He came in with a bucket hat and we were surely expecting like a 'f**k Jake Paul' chant but no one could see him because he wore a bucket hat.

"And because of that, no attention was drawn to him and he didn't really get to show off the chain at the event and he really get the chance to distract Conor like he wanted to.

"And I think obviously now, Jake's plans for fighting Conor have been a little watered down because of the whole missing ankle thing. You got no leg. No leg, no contract."

    CONOR LED UFC REVOLUTION

Conor McGregor deserves ‘a standing ovation’ for helping revolutionise UFC, according to Charles Oliveira.

McGregor would have earned a shot at Oliveira’s lightweight belt had he beaten Dustin Poirier, but the serious injury – and resulting defeat – will see him out of action for at least a YEAR.

UFC boss Dana White confirmed the lengthy layoff after revealing Notorious had been released from hospital following surgery on his broken lower fibia.

Many in the fight industry refused to show any sympathy for McGregor – with WWE legend Kurt Angle mocking him on social media.

But Oliveira believes the former two-weight champion deserves a ‘standing ovation’ for what he’s given to UFC as he wished him a speedy recovery.

Looking back at the fight, Oliveira said: “The way Conor lost was painful.

“Had he been knocked out or if he had knocked out Dustin, that would’ve been cool. He deserves a standing ovation.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov has revealed UFC president Dana White recently offered him a fight with Georges St-Pierre – despite both men being retired.

The Eagle told MMA Junkie: “[Dana] sent me a message and said, ‘Hey, Georges St-Pierre wants to fight with you.’

“I said, ‘What can I do?’ I don’t know. I’m finished, you know? I think Georges is finished, too, you know.

“Let this guy be a legend. He’s 40 years old and I don’t understand why he has to fight.

“I think he has money, too. I’m finished. I’m really finished.”

    CONOR BREAK WAS BEFORE FIGHT

Conor McGregor has revealed his leg was fractured before he even stepped into the cage to take on Dustin Poirier.

The Irish superstar broke his leg at the end of the first round of the trilogy bout on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

    NO DEODO-VANT

PAIGE VANZANT gave a brilliant answer when asked about body odour and working out.

The ex-UFC star was grilled about whether she wears deodorant or not while in the gym.

The 27-year-old was taking part in a fan Q&A when the subject came up.

And she replied: "I figure there is always a man in the gym who smells worse than I do."

VanZant left UFC to take up bare knuckle boxing – signing a deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

She takes on rival Rachael Ostovich next weekend having won their UFC bout in January 2019.

VanZant has been among the mixed martial artists calling for better pay in the UFC.

The 27-year-old claimed she has earned more money from setting up a fan site than fighting.

Speaking about PaigeFanZant.com, she said: "I will say when I signed with BKFC, the bare-knuckle boxing, I was making more money than I had made in my entire UFC career.

“Now I’m making more money than my entire BKFC contract in like a month. It’s pretty crazy.”

HOW TRUMP WAS DONALD DUCKED BY CAMERAS

Explaining the mix-up, he told TMZ Sports: "We were getting ready to show him right between the co-main and main events, I think you remember that we showed OBJ (Odell Beckham Jr).

"We showed OBJ, then it was supposed to go to David Spade, 2 Chainz, and then the president, and we had some kinda glitch in the truck.

"Then the Conor fight ended up ending in the 2nd round so we never got a chance.

"Let me tell you what, massive f*** up by my production team, but ya know, it’s live TV and these things happen.”

Trump played a small role in the early days of the UFC, hosting a number of events at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.

The 75-year-old last attended a UFC event in November 2019.

WHITE HUMP OVER NOT SHOWING TRUMP

UFC president Dana White lambasted his own production team after cameras failed to pick up Donald Trump during Conor McGregor's fight.

The Notorious made his highly-anticipated octagon return on Sunday against Dustin Poirier.

But it was short-lived with McGregor breaking his tibia in the first round – he has since undergone surgery but could be ruled out of action for at least a year.

And while that could be a bitter blow to UFC's viewing figures, White was also fuming the broadcasting.

Trump was in attendance at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas where he was greeted by boos and cheers from the crowd.

But the former president wasn't picked up by broadcaster ESPN by viewers at home, leaving White raging.

    I'M ONE DOV THE BEST

But unsurprisingly, he left out arch rival Conor McGregor, who was submitted in their bitter 2018 grudge match.

Nurmagomedov told ESPN: “I don’t want to push my name, ‘Call me greatest of all time’. No. I am one of the greatest of all time.

“I am on one level with Fedor [Emelianenko], Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier, Demetrious Johnson, Georges St-Pierre.

“I am on one level. I put my name on one level.”

    RESCUE MISSION

Conor McGregor's dad Tony was stranded out at sea after the battery in his luxury yacht died.

The UFC superstar, who is recovering from a broken leg, gifted his old man his former 188 yacht he purchased back in 2017.

Claiming he made 'a classic yachtsman error', the 61-year-old left the navigation lights on after dropping the anchor to swim in Dalkey's Pilot View in Dublin.

This caused the yacht's battery to run down before having problems attempting to lift up the anchor.

He told the Irish Mirror: “All I needed was a simple tow. I didn’t want to trouble the RNLI. There was no danger, there was no risk to life. I had three people on board, me and two passengers and there was no risk to life.

“I followed all protocol safety procedures. We were held by the anchor which I couldn’t retrieve so I knew we weren’t going anywhere. The sea conditions were good. It was around 5pm so there was still lots of light.

“I could’ve happily stayed there overnight in that spot. I was comfortable enough to do that because I’ve the experience."

    MAY DAY

Floyd Mayweather has continued his trolling of former foe Conor McGregor – mercillesly mocking the UFC star's broken leg.

The Money man has taken several shots at the MMA superstar after seeing him snap his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier last weekend.

Mayweather, 44, started taunting the Irishman by revealing he bet £36,000 ($50,000) on Poirier to win the rubber match.

The former five-weight world champion followed that up with a photoshopped picture of McGregor sat on a sofa with a twisted ankle.

And his latest Instagram dig at The Notorious came in the form of photo of a UFC figurine with a twisted ankle.

Mayweather's accompanying caption read: "Parents, please get your children an early Christmas gift and remember to tell them this.

"'F**K IF YOUR LEG IS BROKE, B***H HOP UP ON YOUR GOOD FOOT!' #stankylegedition."

And Floyd Mayweather posted this picture of a McGregor toy with a broken ankle to Instagram

    CON THE MEND

Conor McGregor has been released from hospital just days after surgery on his broken leg.

The MMA superstar shattered his left leg last weekend in his UFC 264 trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier, which he lost via first-round TKO.

McGregor, 32, underwent surgery at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles last Sunday but was given the all-clear to leave on Wednesday.

UFC president Dana White told TMZ: "I think they just released him right now from the hospital about 10, 15 minutes ago.

"He'll be in LA for a little while. I don't know if he's gonna fly home, or what he's gonna do."

    WARM FRONT

Conor McGregor can bounce back from his recent setbacks to beat Dustin Poirier – but only if he's 'hungry to prove a point', former MMA ace Mike Weir has claimed.

The ex-middleweight told Sky Sports: "If McGregor's hungry enough to prove a point – and I really do believe he could do it.

"But the motivation is hard because he's getting how many millions a year. It's whether he wants to set a standard. He's going to have to climb the ladder again.

"He's gone down a step or two. So he's going to have to have a couple of warm-ups. He's not starting from scratch, he's starting from mediocre.

"He's about halfway down the ladder. If he's hungry enough to get back up, great.

"But this about how his wife talks to him, the people around him, the coaches because that plays a very important part, if they say 'just leave it alone mate.'"

    DUST IT OF

Dustin Poirier's coach has poured cold water on a fourth Conor McGregor fight, believing his man has proven he is 'the superior fighter'.

Head trainer Mike Brown told MMA Fighting: “I don’t think [a fourth fight is needed].

"But who knows where they’ll be when Conor gets healthy and is back in there. We’ll see where he goes. He’s got a journey ahead of him.

"Maybe he needs to fight somebody else and get a win or two to get back up there but he’s also the biggest star in the sport.

    'PIECE OF S***'

Jake Paul said 'evil man' Conor McGregor 'had what was coming for him' after his horror leg break against Dustin Poirier.

Paul was cageside at UFC 264 as McGregor suffered a broken tibia just before the end of round one, with the doctor stopping the fight.

But even as the Irishman laid down afterwards in a heated interview with Joe Rogan, he goaded Poirier and his wife Jolie.

Footage has also emerged of McGregor – who has been handed a six month medical suspension – making sick threats to the pair while still in the octagon.

It left Paul having little sympathy for the former two-weight UFC champion, who left the T-Mobile Arena on a stretcher before being hospitalised.

He told TMZ Sports: "He’s a piece of s***. He’s sitting there on the ground after losing, talking s*** to Dustin Poirier’s wife. I don’t feel bad at all.

“I think he’s an evil man, and he had what was coming for him.”

    ON THE PAUL

Pauli Malignaggi offered Conor McGregor a winner-takes-all fight and said his sparring rival can only get more money against Jake Paul.

He explained: “I mean, I wouldn’t put it past anything but I don’t think Conor McGregor is ever going to want to fight me.

“The only way that I’d fight Conor McGregor is if it’s winner-takes-all at this point.

“I wouldn’t fight Conor McGregor, there wouldn’t be any kind of negotiations it’s either winner-takes-all or we don’t fight.

“At this point he’s got everybody convinced he’s better and there’s more than enough money in the pot.

“He makes more money fighting me than anybody else other than maybe Jake Paul.

“So, I don’t see him taking that kind of deal, so there’s probably not going to be a fight.”

    PAUL OVER NOW

Jake Paul has vowed to knock Conor McGregor's 'fake ass teeth' of his mouth as he targets a showdown with the UFC's poster boy.

When asked about a potential showdown with, The Notorious, Paul, 24, said: "It could happen.

"18 months ago, I said I wanted to fight Conor and people laughed. Now I'm laughing at Conor.

"He needs Jake Paul more than I need him. I would knock the fake ass teeth out of his mouth.

"McGregor would not stand a chance."
