Conor McGregor accused of punching man in a pub 'after drinker taunted UFC star over Khabib Nurmagomedov loss'
CONOR McGregor has been accused of punching a man who taunted him over his crushing Khabib Nurmagomedov loss in a bar brawl.
Cops are now investigating claims the UFC star lashed out at the boozer following a row at the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh.
McGregor, 30, was approached by a man who said “the Russian battered you" – referring to his defeat to Nurmagomedov, The Irish Mirror reports.
A source said: “There was a bit of a commotion, he [McGregor] was acting the mick and there was an incident."
McGregor was pictured attending an amateur fight at the Green Isle Hotel in Dublin on Friday night the day before the alleged attack.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating an incident at a pub in Drimnagh, Dublin on April 6, 2019.
“No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”
TROUBLE FOR MCGREGOR
It comes as McGregor faces court in Miami this week accused of stamping on British fan's phone – but will not have to appear in person.
The troubled former MMA star was arrested last month when he became involved in a 5am row with Ahmed Abdirzak outside the Fontainebleau Hotel.
It comes a year after he attacked a bus carrying UFC fighters, including Nurmagomedov, at a media event in New York.
The ex two-weight champ pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge and was sentenced to three days of anger management courses and five days of community service.
He was also suspended from UFC for six months and fined $50,000.
FEUD WITH RIVAL
The Notorious was slaughtered by Nurmagomedov in a one-sided fight in October but recently launched a stinging attack on his rival on Twitter.
He came under fire for tweeting pictures of Nurmagomedov and his wife from their wedding day.
The since-deleted tweet included a snap of the Russian’s wife wearing a veil to cover her face, with the accompanying caption: “Your wife is a towel mate.”

Nurmagomedov responded by taunting McGregor over the Grand National fling that apparently led to the fighter's love child.
Terri Murray, 26, from Liverpool, claims the pair slept together after meeting at the Aintree Grand National in April 2017 – nine months before baby daughter Clodagh was born.
McGregor, worth an estimated £75million, has denied he is the one-year-old's dad and insists Terri slept with one of his friends.
