Boxing promoter Frank Warren lays into Arsenal and admits Arsene Wenger's side 'are going nowhere'

FRANK WARREN launched a scathing rant on his beloved Arsenal as he claims the club are spineless after losing to Manchester City.

The legendary boxing promoter was highly critical of the Gunners, after the Citizens inflicted a crushing 3-0 defeat over Arsene Wenger's side in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday.

Goals from Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva ensured Wenger would be a losing League Cup finalist for the third time.

Though totally outclassed by the Citizens, the shocking performance from the North London club infuriated the Hall of Fame promoter.

The 65-year-old told talkSPORT: “For me and all the fans; enough is enough. It’s just very poor, they are a spineless team who are tactically naive.

"No one wanted the ball, we didn’t have a shot on goal [sic] – it was just awful.

"It was awful, as it was on Thursday night [against Ostersund], as it was against Spurs in the second half – just an awful team who are not going anywhere.

“They are going nowhere!”
