Aymeric Laporte and stunning Wag Sara swim with SHARKS and pigs as Man City star enjoys mid-season holiday in Bahamas

AYMERIC LAPORTE is risking not coming home from his winter break after swimming with SHARKS in the Bahamas.

The Manchester City defender is enjoying some well-earned time off with his girlfriend Sara Botello as the Premier League halts for two weeks.

And while Laporte's Manchester United rivals jetted off to Dubai, Laporte opted to travel to the stunning Bahamas.

The 27-year-old looks like he's having a whale of a time with the sharks, alongside his stunning partner.

In an Instagram post by Sara, the couple can be seen handling the dangerous creatures in gorgeous crystal clear waters.

Although these sharks seemed to be of the friendly variety, as they calmly let Sara and Laporte pet them while swimming on their merry way.

But the couple weren't just joined by sharks as they holidayed in the Caribbean.

Sara also filmed PIGS sniffing around in the sand and frolicking in the waves, looking like they were having the time of their lives.

Laporte is enjoying some down time after his goal in the 1-1 draw against Southampton last time out salvaged a point for City on the South Coast.

He was left with a war wound from the clash at St. Mary's, and showed off a bloody graze on his thigh after being caught late by Stuart Armstrong.

The draw leaves City nine points clear of second place Liverpool, but having played a game more.

Were the Reds to win that, the lead at the top would be cut to just six points, with the Reds still yet to travel to the Etihad this campaign.

So Laporte needs all the rest he can get in the Bahamas to return to duty fully charged, ahead of what is sure to be a dramatic climax to the campaign.
