Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit DEFENDS Steven Gerrard after Bukayo Saka moans about Aston Villa's persistent fouling

ARSENAL legend Emmanuel Petit has defended Steven Gerrard over his comments regarding Bukayo Saka.
The 20-year-old Arsenal and England grabbed his tenth goal of the season to secure the Gunners a vital 1-0 win at Villa Park on Saturday.
But during the game he complained to referee Andrew Madley about Villa's persistent fouling, which prompted a rebuke from Villa boss Gerrard.
The Liverpool legend said: “He’s a good player, an outstanding talent. I love him.
“But he can’t complain about that side of it, that’s football."

And former Gunners star Petit has come out in support of Gerrard, saying Saka has to get used to being fouled.
Seaking to online casino site Lord Ping Petit said: "Bukayo Saka has become a target for Premier League sides, but Steven Gerrard is correct to say 'Get used to it.'
“I can understand his frustrations sometimes because it’s too much, but this is the Premier League and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Saka has been a huge part of Arsenal's resurgence this season along side fellow youngsters Gabriel Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe and Aaron Ramsdale.
Admitting that this season has taken him by surprise Petit said: “I’ve been impressed to be honest as I didn’t see it coming, there is a huge gap between two years ago and now, it’s not the same team any more.”
