Arsenal fans react to Serge Gnabry's stunner for Germany against Holland
SERGE GNABRY once again showed Arsenal what they're missing after he netted a sublime stunner for Germany in their Euro 2020 qualifier against Holland.
The 23-year-old put Joachim Low's side 2-0 up at the Johan Cruyff Arena – jinxing past Virgin van Dijk before dispatching his curling effort into the top corner.
Gnabry has went from strength to strength since leaving the Emirates, where he was sold for just £5million to Werder Bremen in 2016.
And he is now turning heads at Bayern Munich – where he has chipped in with nine goals and seven assists in 31 games this season.
The former Gunners winger appeared 18 times for the North London side in all competitions, while he also had a disastrous loan spell at West Brom where he featured just once in the Premier League.
And Arsenal fans have taken to social media to vent their frustration that they allowed the player to leave the club, with Gnabry blossoming into a lethal forward.
One supporter tweeted: "Every time Gnabry scores, I die a little inside. Why, Arsenal? Why?!"
Another said: "To think we sold Gnabry for 5 million and kept Iwobi ffs."
While one simply stated: "Just want Gnabry back at Arsenal, that’s all I want."
Some fans even claimed they still haven't forgiven legendary boss Arsene Wenger for offloading the youngster.
One commented: "This is why I can’t forgive Wenger for selling Gnabry."
Another said: "Every time I watch Gnabry I hate Wenger more."
Since making his debut for Germany in 2016, the Bayern ace has netted five goals in just six caps.
Do I get depressed thinking about how we sold Gnabry for only 3 million? pic.twitter.com/89tiyOzkg1
To think that Arsene Wenger threw out Gnabry to keep Walcott and Chamberlain. ? ? ? pic.twitter.com/ff7OgfNPWI
Every time Gnabry scores, I die a little inside. Why, Arsenal? Why?!
To think we sold Gnabry for 5 million and kept iwobi ffs #arsenal
Yes like really how did Wenger keep @alexiwobi and sold Gnabry? Tell us @Arsenal !!! Tell us please?
Just a daily reminder Wenger let Gnabry go because of "Walcott potential"
Serge Gnabry is certainly the most obvious sign that Wenger had lost his Midas touch with young players, to sell him for £5m is possibly the worst bit of transfer business he ever signed off!
This is why I can’t forgive wenger for selling Gnabry ?
I can’t believe we let go of Gnabry to give Iwobi the starting position. One Wenger transfer that will forever burn
Every time I watch Gnabry I hate wenger more
So Wenger sold Gnabry and left Iwobi. What a wicked world.
Wtf were we thinking when we sold Serge Gnabry, absolute ??
