CHELSEA striker Tammy Abraham had fans venting their anger at Aidy Boothroyd – after his brilliant cameo almost saved England Under-21s tonight.
Supporters wondered why Young Lions' boss Boothroyd had made Abraham a substitute – let alone leaving it so late before bringing him on – as the former Aston Villa loanee scored and tormented Romania.
But in a match goalless until the 76th minute, England's dreadful defending cost them a 4-2 defeat and meant elimination from Euro 2019, with two defeats from their first two group games.

CHELSEA legend Dennis Wise is “worried” Frank Lampard is landing the boss job too early.
Stamford Bridge great and current Derby chief Lampard could be named as Maurizio Sarri's successor this week after just one season in management.
Wise believes the Blues' two-window transfer ban will buy Lampard some time with fans and owner Roman Abramovich.
But the former Wimbledon “Crazy Gang” member told Sky Sports: “He hasn’t been long in coaching and neither has Jody [Morris] so it slightly worries me a little bit but if they get it I wish them all the luck, both of them.
“It’s going to be tough for him but fingers crossed they do the right thing for Chelsea and do well.”

JORGINHO faces being snubbed by Maurizio Sarri over a move to Juventus.
Sarri has managed the Italian international at his last two clubs, and insisted Chelsea bought him from Napoli last summer.
And there was speculation that he would try to take him to Juve after signing a three-year deal with the Serie A champions last Sunday.
Jorginho's agent even admitted earlier this week that he was waiting for the phone to ring from Juventus to discuss the prospect of a move away from Chelsea.
But Sarri appears to have left his old player high and dry, believing Miralem Pjanic can fulfil Jorginho's role in the side.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have signed Chelsea goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, according to reports.
With the deal seemingly done – albeit not officially just yet – Bulka becomes PSG's first signing of the summer.
His contract at Chelsea ran out at the end of the season and he was expected to be let go.
So Bulka, 19, has joined the French champions for free on a three-year deal, according to Le Parisien.
It is understood the deal was already agreed and he was in Paris yesterday for a photoshoot.
PSG's sporting director Leonardo was in attendance, along with Bulka's agent.
