EXCLUSIVE: MANCHESTER UNITED want two big-money signings before their stars return for pre-season training next month.
The Red Devils want a complete overhaul of their squad, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desperate to offload at least 14 of his flops.
He is also looking to bring a number of new players this summer, with a mixture of youth and experience after a dreadful Premier League season.
It is understood Old Trafford chiefs are aiming to land at least two signings this month, with a defender high on the priority list.
United have a number of centre-back targets on their transfer shortlist including Ajax's Matthijs De Ligt and Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld.
Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly along with PSG full-back Thomas Meunier are also on Solskjaer's radar.
And Joao Felix, Bruno Fernandes and Adrien Rabiot are three midfield options available, with the later available on a free.
