DEONTAY Wilder has the winner of Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua rematch in his sights.
The 'Bronze Bomber' wants to unify the division and has warned Tyson Fury to “step aside”.
Wilder would rather claim the remaining three heavyweight belts than rematch the
'Gypsy King' so the division has “One champion, one face, one name”.
WBC champion Wilder has promised AJ “I'mma knock you out just like I said I would”.
TONY Bellew believes Lomachenko makes American Gervonta Davis “look stupid”.
Davis has reportedly moved up a division to lightweight, vacating his WBA super-featherweight title.
This means that a fight with Ukranian Lomachenko could be on the horizon.
He is the biggest threat to Lomachenko according to 'the bomber', but Loma still makes him “look stupid”.
The American fighter has won 22 fights, 21 by way of knockout, but Bellew states that Lomachenko is “in a different atmosphere to everyone”.
IT was a UK debut to remember for Vasyl Lomachenko as the Ukrainian sensation scored a points victory over brave Luke Campbell at the O2.
The superstar afterwards reiterated his desire to become the undisputed lightweight champion and could be in line for a bout with Gervonta Davis next.
Meanwhile, Barry Hearn believes that Anthony Joshua 'beats Andy Ruiz Jr 99 times out of 100'.
As we all know, that one anomaly occurred in June as the Mexican stunned the world to floor AJ FOUR times in NYC – but promoter Hearn can't see the same happening in their December rematch.
He told the Telegraph: “Ruiz signed for a rematch. The insurance policy is that Joshua has one chance back at it. Do you take your chance?
“Yes, of course you do. Anyone else who says different is just looking for column inches. You would fancy Joshua against Ruiz 99 times out of 100.”
Alexander Povetkin saw off Hughie Fury on the undercard of the Lomachenko vs Campbell showdown and is now targeting The Gypsy King.
It was a triumphant return to the ring for the Russian, who hadn't fought since his defeat to Joshua back in 2018.
He said: “I’d be happy to return to fight in front of these great boxing fans and prove to them and the rest of the world that I can beat Tyson Fury.”
And finally, the long-awaited rematch between YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul looks set to be promoted by Eddie Hearn – and will be announced this week.
The promoter said yesterday: “We'll announce this week, there's a lot happening, there's some f***ing monster moves.”
