  • PAULO GAZZANIGA will once again deputise for the injured Hugo Lloris, when Spurs travel to Anfield this afternoon.

The Argentine international stopper will have been relieved to have kept a clean sheet when Tottenham trounced Red Star 5-0 on Tuesday night.

  • JUVENTUS and Napoli are reportedly chasing Spurs star Son Heung-min ahead of the January transfer window.

The South Korean has become a firm fan favourite in North London – and still has four years remaining on his £140k-a-week contract.

But according to the Express, the Italian giants will test Tottenham's resolve when the transfer window reopens.

  • TOTTENHAM are reportedly plotting a move for out-of-favour Liverpool centre-back Joe Gomez.

The Londoner has struggled for game time since recovering from a long-term injury.

And he could favour a move back to his home city.

According to 90min, Spurs are very interested in securing Gomez's signature.

Arsenal are also thought to be keen – having had defensive problems of their own.

  • TOTTENHAM have identified a possible solution to their defensive woes – Liverpool's forgotten man Joe Gomez.

The England defender, 22, is reportedly unhappy at this lack of game time at Anfield, having fallen behind Joel Matip in the pecking order.

Gomez has played just 90 minutes of Premier League action so far this season.

Spursand North London rivals Arsenal are in the hunt for a new centre back.

Gomez is understood to want a move back to London, where he played with Charlton before his move north.

Arsenal and Tottenham have both registered interest in making his dream come true.

  • SPURS are set to make a move for Norwich defender Max Aarons – and they have now received the green light to make a bid.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke said he will not stand in the 19-year-old's way if Spurs make an acceptable bid in January.

Farke said:“Sometimes a player develops quicker than a club and you have to accept it if a player wants to have a bigger move and that there are bigger clubs in world football than we are.

“But there is no financial pressure on us – we don’t have to sell any player even if there is an offer of £200million. We don’t need the money to keep the club going.”

Right-back Aarons joined from Luton for £750,000 but Norwich will want around £15million for him.
