Wilko's £20 electric fry-up pan has sold out – where to buy a similar one

AN electric pan that let's you cook a fry up without using the hob sold at Wilko's has now sold out – but here's where you can buy a similar one.

The bargain kitchen device had six different compartments so that you can cook your beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs, bacon and sausages all in one go – talk about saving on the washing up.

The snazzy equipment is non-stick, made from plastic and aluminium, and easy "wipe clean".

The retailer had already slashed £5 off the £25 price tag, making it just £20.

While it's sold out online, some stores may still have some left over stock so it might be worth giving your local a call to double check.

Disappointingly, we couldn't find an electric version of this particular pan available to buy anywhere else.

But you can buy a non-electric multi-pan from Amazon but it will set you back £29.99 and it only has five compartments.

If you're looking to save cash, there's a three-section pan available to buy from cooksprofessional.co.uk that only costs £9.99 – £20 cheaper than the one from Amazon.

Neither retailer charges for delivery either, so you won't have to factor in those costs when comparing prices.

But if you're not fussed about the compartments and it's more about the electric pan for you, then there are alternatives out there.

For example, Argos is selling an electric hot plate cooking grill that you can put almost all of your fry-up ingredients on to cook at the same time.

The plate costs £29.99 but as it's flat, you'll probably need to put your beans in a separate pan and cook them on the hob.

But remember, you'll need to fork out another £3.95 for standard delivery if you don't want to leave your house.

If you are able to get to a store, you can get it delivered to your nearest one for free, as long as its inside a Sainsbury's stores.

Argos has closed most of its stores throughout the coronavirus crisis to keep staff and shoppers safe.

Two years ago, Olympic diver Tom Daley sent fans into a frenzy when he Instagrammed a snap of himself using one of the multi-pans to cook his breakfast.

Previously, B&M sold an £8 griddle pan that you could use to cook a fry up but it wasn't electric.
