VW flips onto its roof after flying around corner and ploughing into parked car
Dramatic dashcam video captured the moment a car flipped onto its roof as it ploughed into a parked vehicle.
The footage shows the white Volkswagen Polo come screaming around a corner on a residential street with another car travelling close behind it.
The VW crashes into a parked car as it makes the turn, and then clips a Mercedes which came to a stop as the Polo turned the corner in Bordesley Green, Birmingham.
After hitting the cars, the Polo flips onto its roof and then crashes against a car equipped with a dashboard camera that captured the entire incident, BirminghamLive reports.
The clip went viral after it was posted on social media this week.
It wasn't dated and the emergency services in Birmingham did not have any record of such an incident on their systems.
In the video, the Polo makes the turn as it is closely followed by a black Vauxhall Corsa at around 4pm.
It slams into a parked car and clips the Mercedes before flipping onto its roof and crashing into a car behind the Mercedes.
