Vanessa Lachey had the perfect response to fan comparing her daughter to Jessica Simpson

Vanessa Lachey is only focusing on the positive this year.

The actress, 38, had the perfect response to a Twitter user who compared her daughter with Nick Lachey to his ex-wife, Jessica Simpson. 

In a since-deleted tweet, user @iamkimberlyruiz wrote on New Year’s Eve: “Ok… elephant in the room… but why does Nick and Vanessa Lachey’s daughter look like Jessica Simpson?” She was referring to the Lacheys’ daughter Brooklyn, 3, who has blond locks, like Simpson. 

Lachey took the high road with a classy clap back just hours before the new year. “2019, new year, new outlook. Let’s be positive, especially with our children. Thanks Kimberly. Happy New Year,” she tweeted in response.
