Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have officially broken up after just over two years together. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and the Cleveland Cavaliers player first confirmed their relationship in September 2016, and are parents to 10-month-old daughter True. The couple’s romance was a turbulent one, with a cheating scandal plaguing the relationship only days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter.
Khloe forgave Thompson for last year’s indiscretions and the couple seemed to be doing everything they could to put the drama behind them. In a cruel display of history repeating itself, Thompson is at the center of another cheating scandal. This one is particularly heartbreaking for Khloe, however, as it involves someone in her inner circle. Even one of Khloe’s sisters has been dragged into the drama surrounding Thompson’s latest cheating scandal.

Hollywood Unlocked first broke the news of the cheating scandal, claiming one of their writers was present when the incident occurred. Thompson reportedly flew from Cleveland to LA to spend Valentine’s Day with Khloe and True. All was well until Sunday night, when Thompson hosted a house party without members of the Kardashian-Jenner family in attendance.
Guests at the party stated that their phones were confiscated at some point in the night, and Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods, arrived shortly afterwards. Witnesses report that Woods was sitting in Thompson’s lap and the two were making out at the party. Woods did not leave Thompson’s house until approximately 7:00 a.m. the next morning.
The news was reportedly met with disbelief by the Kardashians and Jenners at first. “When they first started hearing on Monday that Tristan made out with Jordyn, no one really believed it,” a source told People. “That Tristan would be inappropriate, yes everyone knows that he can’t behave, but that Jordyn would make out with him, it first seemed like a made up rumor.”
After doing some initial sleuthing, the family realized they had been betrayed by not one, but two members of their inner circle. “It wasn’t anything they wanted to drop,” People’s source explained. “So several family members reached out to people they believed had been at the party. And they were told it was true.”
Tristan Thompson tried to deny cheating, but Khloe Kardashian and friends say otherwise
After the news broke Tuesday afternoon, Thompson took to Twitter to deny it. “FAKE NEWS,” he tweeted before quickly deleting the post. Meanwhile, Khloe and her friends were making sure everyone knew the reports were true, setting the record straight on Instagram. Khloe appeared to confirm the cheating reports by commenting eight yelling head emojis on Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee’s Instagram post.
Malika Haqq, Khloe’s best friend, also weighed in on Lee’s post, writing, “STRONG FACTS.” Larsa Pippen sounded off, too. “Amen!!!” Pippen commented on the post, while her bestie and Khloe’s sister, Kim Kardashian, unfollowed Thompson and Woods on Instagram. Adrienne Bailon, who once dated Rob Kardashian and remains on good terms with the family, confirmed the reports on Wednesday’s episode of The Real.

Kylie was initially torn about what to do after Woods betrayed the family. Woods and Kylie have been best friends for years, and Kylie has allegedly been bankrolling Woods’ luxurious lifestyle. “Kylie pays for her entire life and she even bought Jordyn a car,” a source told E!. “Jordyn was on all of her vacations. Her whole family was invited to the Christmas party and Stormi’s birthday party.”
Woods had also been living in Kylie’s guesthouse at the time of the incident, but she has since moved back in with her mother. Kylie has sided with her family and is reportedly cutting Woods off completely. It’s unclear what the future holds for Kylie and Woods’ friendship, but it appears that the damage is already done.
Woods has been trying to reach out to the family to apologize, but the betrayal may be too much for the family. “It’s all just a huge shock and shows her true colors,” E!‘s source explained. “It’s going to take a long time for the sting and the shock to go away.”
