Spendthrift fashionistas are forking out thousands of pounds on a pair of multicoloured trainers from discount retailer Lidl.
The red, yellow and blue shoes, which come complete with the German supermarket’s logo, are being sold for just 15 euros (£14) at the budget grocer’s European branches.
Savvy shoppers are now selling them online for more than 110 times the original price, with UK shoppers are going wild over the shoes.
One person recently splashed out £3,100 for an eBay bundle including pairs of trainers, as well as a Lidl branded socks and a pair of sliders.

One person splashed out £3,100 for a bundle including two pairs of trainers, as well as a Lidl branded socks and a pair of the company’s sliders
Lidl have said the shoes won’t be available in UK stores anytime soon, and shoppers have taken to eBay to pick up a pair.
Discussing queues in Finland to get their hands on a pair of the shoes, customer told The Foreigner: ‘Everyone lined up normally. At exactly 8am they ran to the shop and the sneakers’ shelf emptied in less than 10 seconds.’
Another added that people were ‘on top of each other’ and shouting ‘remember social distance’.
And now dozens of sellers are trying to flog their shoes, with prices starting at around £80 with one seller pricing their pair at more than £2,400.

One person even listed the extravagant trainers on Finnish auction site Tori for £5,400.
The trendy shoes have caught the eye of many social media users, with one person claiming they’ve never wanted a pair of trainers more in their life.
One joked: ‘Thinking of starting a black market E-business where I smuggle Lidl trainers.’
‘Okay but these Lidl trainers actually slap,’ wrote one.

Another put a Lidl bag over their own shoes and joked they’d created their own pair.
The shoes are still available on Lidl’s Dutch website, but shoppers have reported their disappointment that they don’t ship to the UK.
Lidl is usually known for their copycat versions of premium brands, with shoppers previously picking up lookalike Birkenstocks, beauty products and popular foods.
The branded shoes marks the first time shoppers have gone wild for a Lidl-branded item.
