Royal fans ‘bit jaded’ by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new photos of Archie

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have left people feeling a 'bit jaded' with the 'stylised' photos they are sharing of their son.

Since they broke from tradition by not posing with Archie on the hospital steps after he was born, the couple have shared a number of arty snaps.

We've had a photo of his feet and one showing part of his face and Harry's finger.

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, believes that royal fans are starting to get fed up with this and it won't go down well if they do something similar with his christening photos.

The couple are reportedly planning a private celebration for their son as part of their wish to raise him as a "private citizen".

Christenings aren't normally televised but the press are normally invited to take photos of the family and guests arriving at and leaving the church.

Ingrid told the Mail: "I think what people want and what people are used to seeing are lovely family images of the baby in the royal Honiton lace christening gown.

"They won't want an arty Instagram shot of Archie's foot three days later if it's left up to the couple themselves to take pictures and release them."

"The pictures they issue are so stylised. People just want to see Harry, Meghan, the baby and the gown and the godparents, that's all. It's traditional. But there's nothing wrong with a bit of traditional when it comes to a royal baby ."

She believes it is Harry's idea to keep the details private, and claims it's putting Meghan in a difficult position.

The christening report came just days after details of the £2.4million pricetag for renovating the couple's Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage , was made public – and it's not even finished yet.

The Queen is expected to miss Archie's christening as she has other engagements, just as she did for Louis's last year.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stuck with tradition by letting the world be part of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis's christenings.
