Nicki Chapman revealed her brain tumour hasn’t grown six months after undergoing surgery.
The TV presenter, 52, had the procedure to remove part of the growth earlier this year after being diagnosed with a brain tumour the ‘size of a golf ball’.
Taking to Instagram today, Nicki shared the happy news of her progress alongside of a snap of her giving the thumbs up at Charing Cross Hospital.

She wrote in the caption: ‘I got the best news this week: Six months after my surgery, my consultant (also my hero) has said the remaining tumour hasn’t grown.
‘Small steps but a huge relief. My grateful thanks to the wonderful team #CharingCrossHospital #Neurosurgery & @ImperialNHS @NHSEnglandLDN @TheBrainTumourCharity.’
Nicki had turned to doctors for advice after a experiencing moments where she struggled to see or speak.
The TV presenter, who is best known for Escape To The Country, was told that she had a tumour the size of a golf ball.
She was warned that the necessary surgery for treatment posed the risk of permanent loss of speech, sight or movement.

Nicki appeared in a candid interview with Holly Willouhby and Phillip Schofield on ITV’s This Morning following the operation.
She said: ‘I had a knee op at the beginning of the year and I was off. I was trying to read an email and I couldn’t see it. I put it down to my age and went on holiday.
‘I came back and did a photoshoot and couldn’t see, I did a voice over and I couldn’t speak, nothing would come out. It lasted about five to ten minutes.’
The 52-year-old was in floods of tears after she waited for doctors to explain the result of health scans.
Speaking about the desire to stay positive after discovering the tumour, she added: ‘We’ve called him Bert. I’ve still got a bit of him, you’ve got to have a sense of humour.’

Nicki who has over 19,000 followers on Instagram, received a stream of comments from those showing support after sharing her six months progress.
One person wrote: ‘Oh Nicki i’m so pleased for you what a great relief for you. Lots of love and best wishes xx’
Another said: ‘Good news Nicki so pleased for you. Not all heroes wear capes. These surgeons and medical staff do a tremendous job.’
A third added: ‘So good to hear, Nicki! It must be such a relief for you. I am glad your lovely presenting will go on as usual. I think this calls for a new dress? (That’s my treat when I get some welcomed news!’
