McDonald's fans slam its new naan burger for being 'dry' and 'messy' to eat – but they love the flavour

MCDONALD’S released its new Indian Chicken burger this week but fans aren’t convinced by the naan bread, calling it dry and messy to eat.
The fast food chain’s latest burger is part of the Great Tastes of the World promotion and features two Chicken Selects with an Indian style relish.
But instead of the usual sesame seed bun, the chicken is sandwiched between two mini garlic naan breads.
Maccies lovers have now given their verdict on the new offering and while they love the flavour of the Indian Chicken, the naan didn’t hit the spot, according to several social media posts.
One customer shared their disappointment and said “the whole thing fell apart” while another said it was “really messy”.
Another was convinced they “must of had a bad one because the bread was hard” in a similar opinion to someone else who said the naan was “a bit dry”.
One customer added: “Tasty but very messy and difficult to eat.”
Another said: “I wasn't keen on the Nan, it broke apart when I bit into it. Loved the chutney though.”
Someone else said: “The naan bread was stale.”
As another posted: “Naan bread very dry – massive disappointment.”
But others only had good things to say about the new creation with one person calling it “absolutely lovely”.
Another customer said: “Had the Indian chicken burger today! Soo yummy!”
Fast food diners can buy the Indian Chicken burger until October 22.
It costs £4.19 for the individual sandwich or £5.89 as a medium meal, including a side and drink.
Each burger contains 590 calories which is the best on the Great Taste of the World menu for weight watchers.
McDonald's new menu, released yesterday, also includes a Galaxy salted caramel ice cream and a cheese sharebox.
As well as this, there's the return of the French Stack burger, which is also part of Great Tastes of the World.
McDonald's didn't want to comment on the feedback when we asked them.
