Lidl has a massive back to uni sale with electronics, kitchenware and stationary all on offer

UNIVERSITY students (and their parents) can banish the back to school blues thanks to Lidl's new sale, which includes tech, kitchenware, electronics and stationary.

Students can stock up on everything from hair dryers and backpacks to mini ovens and laptops all at a fraction of the price.

All of the products are in-store only. Fortunately there are over 700 stores across the UK, and you can find your nearest using the store locator tool.

The deals are only available while stocks last, so you might want to move fast.

Acer 14" HD Chromebook – view now

Top of Lidl's list is an Acer 14" HD Chromebook costing just £179.

The computer is an absolute bargain. The same model would cost you £249 at Currys and £269.99 if you purchased it directly from Acer.

It’s completely encased in aluminium alloy, with a massive 14-inch HD screen, up to 12 hours of battery life and enhanced wireless speeds.

Remington Hair Dryer – view now

  • Saving: 29 per cent

Another great saving is this Remington hair dryer for less than a tenner.

It costs £13.99 at Argos and if you buy it from Remington itself.

It has 2000W of power and Ceramic Ionic grille and there's even an extra Eco Setting so you can save energy when you dry.

Lidl also have a straightener from the same range for just £16.99.

Russell Hobbs Adventure 1.7L Kettle – view now

  • Saving: 25 per cent

This kettle is an absolute steal with a saving of £5.

The same one costs £19.99 from Argos, while the black version is a whopping £25 at George.

In the same range, Lidl is selling a rice cooker for £18.99 and a toaster for £14.99.

There's also an Ernesto range in the Middle of Lidl sale, which includes lots of different pan sets, glasses, cutlery and knives.

O'Neill 22L Backpack – view now

  • Saving: 71 per cent

One of the biggest savings was this 22l backpack which is a whopping 71 per cent off.

It comes in a range of three colours – grey, black or blue – and has padded, adjustable shoulder straps.

We couldn't find the same backpack elsewhere online, but similar O'Neill options will set you back upwards of £24.99.

There are some second hand rucksacks available online, but if you want a new pack you'll struggle to beat the Lidl price.

Silentnight Essentials Hollowfibre Pillow Pair – view now

  • Saving: 63 per cent

While stocks last you can pick up a pack of two SilentNight pillows for £5.99, that's under £3 a pillow.

The exact same pack will set you back £10 at Sainsbury's, while similar pillows cost £9.99 at the Range and £12.55 through Amazon.
