Kathy Griffin calls out Forbes’ list of highest-paid comedians for having ‘no women’
Kathy Griffin doesn’t think the Kings of Comedy is any laughing matter.
The “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” star, 58, called out the lack of gender representation among Forbes’ list of highest-paid comedians of 2018 — which is made up of all men.
“No women,” she said on Twitter Thursday, along with a graphic of each comedian and their estimated earnings from June 1, 2017, through June 1, 2018.
Jerry Seinfeld, 64, claimed the top spot yet again, raking in $57.5 million from stand-up shows, selling the streaming rights of “Seinfeld” to Hulu and proceeds from his 2017 Netlfix deal. (In fact, Seinfeld has only been dethroned once by Kevin Hart in 2016 since Forbes started tracking comedian’s pay in 2006.)
