Lockdown has been a productive time for The Saturdays singer Mollie King, who has given her swish South London flat an epic makeover.

The star, who hosts the BBC Radio 1 weekend breakfast show with Matt Edmondson, has been busy creating a stylish new look for her home, which she shares with boyfriend and cricket pro Stuart Broad.

Mollie, 33, began her big project last year with a luxurious new kitchen in time for the Christmas holidays.

Since spending more time indoors, she’s been busy creating a cosy new home office, a marble bathroom and a dressing room fit for a queen!

The carpeted dressing room area has plenty of clever storage space.

Mollie says she absolutely loved doing up her flat, even if it meant “spending every night falling asleep scrolling on Pinterest.”

Cricket ace Stuart, who has a home in Nottingham, gets busy in the kitchen. “I’m not a good cook,” admits Mollie.

“I’ll throw in a stir-fry where all I have to do is heat up some veg and noodles and pre-cooked prawns.”

Mollie’s bathroom wouldn’t look out of place in a five-star hotel suite with its white tiles and marble floor.

It was her first time doing a bathroom makeover, and she says: “Who knew I’d lose sleep over grouting!?”

Pampered pooch Alfie enjoys the finer things in life as he snuggles up on Mollie’s bed.

“With so much working from home at the moment I’ve tried to make a nice desk area for myself,” says Mollie, who plays her guitar in her spare time.

The Lexington Arts & Crafts flag cushion adds a homely touch and the desk space has a presidential vibe.

When she’s not trying to work, with the help (or not) of Alfie, Mollie’s a home bird who loves a quiet night in.

“It’s all about sitting there with a gin and tonic or a cup of tea and watching a Netflix series,” she says.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter’s Chelford kitchen from Howdens was finished in time for Christmas last year.

Mollie wanted “clean lines, but with some character” for her new-build flat.

She chose dove grey units “paired up with a quartz top” and added the Art Deco lantern style lights and vintage wood and metal bar stools.

The gold knobs on the kitchen cupboards add a touch of class, and is that a coffee machine we see?

“My weakness is coffee. I drink way too much,” she confesses.

Stuart might ask Mollie for style advice, but he will never let her cut his hair again, apparently.

“I tried to give him a slight trim with the clippers and I accidentally gave him a zero on his sideburns!” she reveals.
