Fantasy Football Tips: Premier League injury update

But which players are either definitely out or major doubts for the fixtures?

Here’s our Dream Team injury update ahead of the weekend…

Definitely out

Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones

It’s been a horror season for De Bruyne and you have to feel for him.

The Manchester City star has picked up another injury, this time a hamstring problem, and will miss the game with Watford.

Stones will also miss the fixtures after leaving the field early at Bournemouth last Saturday.

Sol Bamba

Cardiff’s survival hopes were dealt a massive blow last weekend as Bamba was ruled out for the rest of the season with ligament damage.

Bamba is their highest points-scorer on Dream Team by some distance with 85 points.

Kieran Trippier

Trippier’s had a pretty tragic fall from grace since the World Cup, hitting rock bottom after that own goal at Chelsea a couple of weeks ago.

And the Spurs defender will miss their clash with Southampton on Saturday with a muscle strain.

Doubts

Dele Alli

Alli is inching closer to his long-awaited return from a hamstring injury, but the Southampton game on Saturday may still come too soon.

Mauricio Pochettino said he hopes that he will be available but will need to wait until the last training session.

Callum Wilson

Wilson has been the bargain of the season on Dream Team and his fans have really missed him during his six-week absence.

But the Bournemouth hitman is nearing full fitness and could feature against Newcastle.

James Milner

Milner has been pretty effective all season for Liverpool but is suffering with a muscle issue ahead of the Burnley clash on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp will need to make a late decision on the midfielder if he is to play.

Anthony Martial and Ander Herrera

Manchester United overcame PSG on Wednesday night with a severely depleted side but they should be able to call on some of their more famed faces at Arsenal on Sunday.

Both Martial and Herrera are close to a return and may feature at the Emirates, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
