Woman’s bizarre fake tan trick goes viral after she tells people to bathe in BIO OIL and apply tan with a makeup brush – The Sun
FROM streaky legs to blotchy elbows, fake tan fails are easy to make and take days to fade.
Now, one woman's unusual fake tan routine has gone viral, after she shared her seven-step method to getting the perfect glow.
Taking to TikTok, beauty and lifestyle influencer Amy Leigh shared her extensive routine, which includes bathing in Bio Oil and mixing TWO kinds of tanning products.
The video has been a hit online, racking up over 25,000 likes and dozens of comments.
Amy begins by running a bath and adding Sanctuary long soak bubble bath to the water.
While the bath is running, she pours some Bio Oil in.
When another TikTok user asked why Amy added the unusual ingredient, she replied, "It's good to break down tan, as it's an oil and I find it helps with my dry skin."
She added that the method helps prevent "scaly tan" marks caused by dry skin.
She then removes any old fake tan with an exfoliating glove and St Moritz Tan Remover. She also recommends shaving while in the bath.
Next, Amy moisturises her body with Vaseline Intensive Care moisturiser and Bio Oil and lets it soak in for another 15 minutes.
The beauty fanatic then mixes together two kinds of fake tan – Utan & Tone Cherry Turbo Mousse and BPerfect 10 Second Tan – applying these with a velvet tanning glove.
To avoid any streaks, Amy finishes her routine by buffing tan onto her chest.
Finally, she applies extra moisturiser to her feet with a makeup brush.
The morning after completing her extensive tanning routine, Amy says she wakes up with a 'perfect tan'.
The unconventional beauty routine has gone down a storm online, with many other TikTok users vowing to try Amy's method out themselves.
One person wrote: "Thank you. Trying this tonight."
Another said: "Looks perfect."
