We converted a school bus into a 105 sq ft tiny home – my favorite part is in the kitchen, it's completely unique | The Sun
A WOMAN has transformed her house on wheels to include a stunning space for meal prep.
People were left amazed after she gave a tour of her tiny home and revealed the kitchen's unique features.
"Come check out the kitchen with us in our converted school bus," said TikToker Sara (@wechoosetheroad) in a recent video.
The first part of her makeover included a Furrion three-burner gas range since she and her partner Oli "love to bake."
The unit included a cover for the top portion and ample space in the bottom part.
She added: "This is specifically designed for RVs, and we decided to go for the 21-inch oven."
The next feature was a regular house fridge that was professionally converted so they could run it from their tiny home battery.
"And inside we've added some anti-slip mats," said Sara as she opened the refrigerator door to show off the interior.
The bus life pro also shared that their kitchen sink is a prep sink typically found at bars to help decrease water usage.
"We decided to go for a bathroom faucet rather than a large kitchen one," she continued.

The countertops were a personal highlight for Sara, especially because they were made by her partner.
"As for our countertops, these have to be my favorite part of the build.
"Oli built these himself from rough cherry wood and therefore, they're completely unique," she said.
She also added that all of the wood's details were filled in with epoxy resin.
The final part of her tour included an impressive view of their kitchen table, cleverly stored away so it's easy to use when needed.
"Finally, we have our table, which folds away onto the back wall, and when it's time to eat, it simply folds down," she concluded.
Commenters were impressed that the kitchen looked so sleek while remaining functional.
"I love how smart this build is! No wasted space," wrote an amazed viewer.
"Love the black sink! It's so hard to keep our stainless one looking nice," added another tiny home fan.
"Absolutely stunning and practical!" wrote an enthusiastic admirer.
Sara also clarified multiple details for other curious TikTokers.
One person asked: "Did you mean the bus's battery runs the fridge or is there a separate one? That seems like a bad idea."
She replied: "We have a separate battery that is charged via our solar panels. This powers everything in our bus so we’re fully off-grid!"
