WACKO MARIA Enlists Andrea "FACE" Facelli to Design New Capsule

Andrea “FACE” Facelli is known for his provocative paintings, mixed-media pieces and sculptures that feature religious iconography such as the Crucifixion. When he’s not creating works for his practice, FACE lends his creative talents to commercial projects — having worked with industry titans such as Nike and Slam Jam on previous collaborations.

The Italian artist was recently enlisted by WACKO MARIA to design exclusive new apparel and candles portraying the Virgin Mary. The collection is comprised of white and black tees embellished with a statuette of the Virgin Mary on the back portion. The words “God Bless You” in an Old English typeface is spotted encircling the religious subject covered in a black shade with subtle gold accents across its form. Moreover, the Japanese label’s GUILTY PARTIES slogan is inscribed on the pedestal of the statue.

As for the candles, the decorative home items mimic FACE’s portrayal of the Virgin Mary on the tees while also arriving in white and black options. Check out the FACE x WACKO MARIA collection above. The exclusive collection will drop on WACKO MARIA’s website on September 12.
