Think Barbie is an airhead? Think again, she's been a career woman for 60 years and it doesn't look like she's quitting

And despite turning 60 yesterday, and giving no hint of retiring from her hectic routine, the world’s most popular doll still doesn’t look a day over 20.

Today she maintains her position as global top-selling doll, shifting more than 100 a minute, and more than a billion to date.

That’s quite a workforce. But then Barbie is no stranger to graft, having had more than 200 careers in her time, from astronaut, pilot and robot technician to entrepreneur, athlete and journalist.
