Royal Ascot 2021 guests attended day five of the competition today. Guests turned heads as they put on their finest frocks and bold hats for the event.
Royal Ascot has a strict dress code which must be followed by those who attend.
This includes women who attend wearing hats or they could be denied entry.
The official Ascot website states: “Hats should be worn; however, a headpiece which has a solid base of four inches (10cm) or more in diameter is acceptable as an alternative to a hat. Fascinators are not permitted.”
As the races come to an end today, it seems some attendees had saved their best looks for last.
One racegoer arrived wearing a floral two-toned blue hat which sat to the left of her head.
It had white and blue flowers across it and a thin white veil hanging at the front.
She completed the look wearing a sleeveless tuxedo dress which was in the same baby blue colour.
Other guests went for a collaborative effort and five women were seen wearing matching yellow floral sundresses.
They each had on a yellow hat in the same mustard colour and the varied designs featured feathers, florals and spikes.
One more woman opted for an oversized white headpiece which had leaves coming off the top.
She wore the bold statement hat with a block colour red dress which had an asymmetric hem.
Another had on a baby pink hat which had a large curled feather stood straight up on top.
Feathers were clearly a popular choice among racegoers today and more headpieces were spotted in a similar design.
One wore a red flat sunhat and the rim was laced with light pink feathers.
Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins was also seen arriving at the races.
She put on a classy display wearing a cream midi dress with three quarter length lace sleeves.
The presenter completed the look with a matching floral cream hat.
Charlotte is not the only celebrity to attend the event this week.
As well as well known public figures, the races are usually attended by members of the Royal Family.
This week, royals including Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne and Zara Tindall have all been in attendance.
