Pregnant mum-of-21 Sue Radford throws her daughters a huge LOL Surprise sleepover party with mini tents and gifts
MUM-of-21 Sue Radford has revealed how she threw the ultimate LOL Surprise sleepover for her daughter Tillie, who has had a few big operations on her leg.
Sue, 44, who is currently pregnant with baby 22, shared a video and photos of the incredible slumber party, which featured five teepee style tents in their lounge.
Each tent had a mattress and bedding themed on the popular dolls, a pink lantern, a sign for each girl, pretty bunting and fairy lights.
Tillie, nine, had to have a frame fitted early this year to lengthen her leg after it stopped growing due to a procedure she had at 18 months old.
Sue previously revealed that Tillie’s operations, along with both she and husband Noel recently losing a parent, made 2019 one of the hardest years yet for the large family.
Speaking this week, Sue said they had planned the themed sleepover to cheer Tillie up.
She said on the family’s YouTube channel: “Today is an exciting day for Tillie, no one knows but us grown-ups.
“She had a friend over for tea this week and she’s been desperate for a sleepover for a few months now, but I put it off because she was waking up quite a few times in the night due to pain in her leg.”
The busy mum said that as Tillie has been sleeping well in recent months, she organised the ultimate girly sleepover as a celebration.
She added: “What she doesn’t know is that she’s got another little friend sleeping over and we’ve got a slumber party for her.
“I honestly can’t wait to see her little face bless her. I just know she’s going to absolutely love it.”
Taking Tillie out of the house to pick up her friend, the family – along with party business Once Upon A Sleepover – set up the fun soiree in the lounge.
When she got back, the little girl looked amazed at the colourful decorations and said it was “awesome.”
Relieved mum Sue finished off her vlog in the kitchen saying the girls were watching movies in the lounge with popcorn and sweets.
She said: “They’ve had a Domino's pizza and Tillie was also desperate to get some cookies too.
“I’m just going to get sorted and head off to bed. Not that I’m going to get much sleep tonight as I’ll probably be down checking on them!”
The super-mum lives in Morecombe, Lancs, with husband Noel, 48, and their 21 kids, in a ten-bedroom former care home.
The couple famously don’t claim any benefits apart from Child Benefit and rely on Noel’s bakery business to make ends meet.
The Radfords are parents to Chris, 30, Sophie, 25, Chloe, 23, Jack, 22, Daniel, 20, Luke, 18, Millie, 17, Katie, 16, James, 15, Ellie, 14, Aimee, 13, Josh, 12, Max, 11, Tillie, nine, Oscar, seven, Casper, six, Hallie, three, Phoebe, two, Archie 18 months, and Bonnie, one.
They also have three grandchildren – who are Sophie's kids – Daisy, six, Ayprill, four, and Leo, two.
Nine loads of washing are done each day, using 30 bottles of washing liquid every month and the family uses four toilet rolls per day.
