People are only just realising how to make their car drinks holders work for any bottle – and it’s blowing their minds | The Sun

THERE are few things more annoying than getting a swish new drinks bottle, only to find that it won't fit in your car's drinks holder.

But one woman has been left mind blown after trying out a TikTok hack in real life, and discovering that it works an absolute treat.

Darcy took to the social media site to share a video of herself responding to Maddy's hack, which showed her using a plumbing accessory to make the bottle fit.

"I need that right now," Darcy said, as she watched Maddy put the piece of plastic pipe into the drinks holder, with her bottle in the top.

"Right, we’re going to Bunnings," she said, heading to her local DIY store.

"Okay. The difficult part," Darcy admitted as she faced an aisle full of plumbing pipes.

But she settled on a Level Invert Taper from Holman, as she said: "I think this is going to work!"

Back in her car, she placed the thinner end of the taper into the drinks holder, before putting her wide-bottomed bottle into the wider end.

"You b**ody beauty!" she exclaimed as she watched it fit perfectly.

The comments section was quickly filled with people praising Darcy for sharing the hack, with one writing: "Genius!"
