Oscars Red Carpet: Live Updates

Hello, and welcome to an article about the 91st Academy Awards — or Oscars, if you prefer — the hostless show that everyone will be talking about for at least a couple more hours. The powers that be will start presenting awards shortly after 8 p.m. on ABC, but you can start watching fancy stars roll up at 6:30 p.m., also on ABC.

We’ll be watching for the arrival of the best actress nominee Lady Gaga, known for making the red carpet a performance venue that rivals Madison Square Garden, and for Spike Lee, who is finally nominated for best picture for his film “BlacKkKlansman,” among others. We’re also curious to see whether movies like “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Green Book,” which received mixed reviews, continue to scoop up awards. And you?
