But what if they didn’t tell you, and you found out some other way? 



That’s what happened to one mum, who didn’t know her daughter hated her Christmas present until she spotted the present in the local charity shop just four days later. 

Ellie, known online as @ellieclarkson3, regularly shares life updates with her 904 followers. 

But in a new viral video, the content creator shares the moment she and her mum spotted their sister’s gift in their local Sue Ryder charity shop. 

They then decided to get their own back, and people are finding it hilarious.

During the 30-second video, Ellie is seen taking photos of the red, crocodile-effect shoulder bag. 

She then prints these off, before posting them through her sister’s door with an anonymous note. 

Fans loved the prank, with the video gaining more than 23,000 likes and 403,000 views. 

In the comments, Ellie’s followers shared what they would have done, with one writing: “Ahaha I am so invested.”

Another said: “Would have bought the bag and left it somewhere in her house without telling her, she would think it is cursed.”

A third added: “Oh that's awful. That would hurt my heart if my daughter did that.”

A fourth commented: “Can you imagine if she still has the bag and now she has two?”
