Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘will release new photos of son Archie a month after his birth’, royal source claims

ROYAL fans are desperate to get another glimpse of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new son Archie Harrison.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed the new tot to the world on Wednesday in Windsor, but it might be a month before we see him again.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam told Fabulous Digital: “Harry and Meghan are rewriting the total rule book. That means they might very well post a surprise photo of Archie on Instagram but also they may not.”

If they did, they would be following in the footsteps of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who released official portraits of all three of their children after they were born.

Prince George’s sweet shot was released a month after his birth in July 2013, Princess Charlotte’s photo also came a month after her birth in May 2015.

Royal fanatics had to wait a shorter time for a photo of Prince Louis, as his was released just two weeks after his April 2018 birth.

Richard said that we sadly won’t have many sightings of Archie as a baby and we can “expect fiercely guarded privacy at all times.”

He added: “There will obviously be periodic photographs on special days such as birthdays.”

The royal expert has claimed it is likely the next time we could see Master Archie could be at the christening, if Meghan and Prince Harry don’t elect to keep it a private affair.

Richard explained: “The royals tend to have christenings two or three months after the birth. Expect them to do what they want to.”

The means the christening could take place in early summer, before the Queen goes up to Scotland for her break at Balmoral.

He added: “Be most entirely certain that Archie won’t be emulating Princess Eugenie & having a public christening, which is unique for a royal.

“Expect Archie to be christened in St George’s Chapel, where Harry was christened and where he and Meghan were married as they have developed such strong links with Windsor.”

It is not clear whether the Queen will attend the christening as she skipped the celebrations of Prince Louis.

The parents tried to keep the birth as private as possible, and only informed the world Archie had been born hours after it happened.

The Sun’s Royal Correspondent Emily Andrews said: “I don’t think we’ll see Archie again until his christening this summer.

“Harry and Meghan may decide to issue some more pictures before then, perhaps from the shoot they did with their wedding photographer Chris Allerton, but that would be unlikely.

“They’ve made it clear they want some family private time, which is totally normal and understandable.”

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born at 5.26am on Monday and weighed 7lbs 3oz.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been preparing for a home birth at Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

But late on Sunday the Duchess was driven to the exclusive Portland private hospital in central London by Harry and their Scotland Yard security team.

We shared how Meghan Markle looked ‘very vulnerable’ during Archie photocall and motherhood seems to have ‘mellowed her’.

We also revealed how Meghan continued a 70-year royal tradition by swaddling baby Archie in iconic blanket.

Sun doctor Carol Cooper had said previously it was more likely Meghan will have opted for a caesarean because of her age as she warned about the dangers of older mums giving birth.
