Meghan and Harry’s Christmas card ‘looks like a Bond advert’ for the public to ‘admire their A-list lifestyle’, body language expert says

Judi, speaking to Fabulous Digital, said the Royal couple’s card – which features a picture of them taken on their wedding day in May – sent a hugely different message to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s.

Whereas Meghan and Harry have their backs to the camera in a glamorous black and white shot, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wear jeans and smile at the camera as their children lark about in the picture, also released today.

Judi said: “While William and Kate have chosen casual clothes and friendly, casual-looking body language to greet the viewer face-on to invite us to share in the fun of their cute-looking family, Harry and Meghan have chosen a pose with their backs to the camera.

“[They are] inviting us to admire their cool, romantic A-lister lifestyle here in what looks like an ad for the new Bond movie.

"Both cards are gorgeous but completely contrasting."

She added: “Harry and Meghan's pose suggests deep idealistic love and a desire to be lost together alone in the moment while William and Kate's is all about shared sociable smiling and an invitation to join in their happiness as a family group.”

However, fans on social media said they loved  both cards with many focussing on how adorable it was that Harry was holding Meghan’s hand from behind as they watched fireworks over their future home, Frogmore Cottage.

One fan wrote: “The signature Sussex hand hold.”

Another added: “What a beautiful, romantic and intimate picture!! Thank you for posting this!”

And speaking about Kate and William’s another fan added: “What a fabulous photo in so many ways. Kudos to the photographer capturing Louis smiling also.”
