But one savvy shopper thinks she’s found the best jeans on the high street – and they cost her just £4.50 from the local supermarket.

Alice, known online as @alicerosebuttery, regularly shares fashion and beauty tips with her 31,000 followers.

In a new video, the content creator raves about her latest find – a pair of straight-leg denim jeans that she picked up at her local Asda store.

“Guys, yesterday I got myself a pair of jeans from Asda. That’s right, the little supermarket.

“They’ve got a sale on. The jeans that I got, they were meant to be £9, got to the checkout, she was like, ‘oh, gone through for £4.50.’

“And when I say these jeans are chef’s kiss, I mean it.

“Lighting in here is trash but look at these. Straight-leg, they look better without the slippers.

“Straight leg, little cutouts, black jeans.

During the 34-second video, the thrifty shopper is seen trying on the George at Asda straight-leg, black wash jeans with a grey knitted jumper.

Fans loved Alice’s bargain buy, with the video gaining more than 276 likes and 7,900 views.

In the comments, the fashion fan’s followers raved about her find, with one writing: “They look great!! Running to Asda!!”
