Instagram model sparks fierce debate after banning her boyfriend from appearing in holiday photos because it LOSES her money

AN Instagram model has sparked fierce debate after admitting to BANNING her boyfriend from  holiday photos as it affects her sponsorship deals.

Posting on Reddit's "Am I The A*****" forum, the woman explained how she funds her Masters degree by working as a yoga instructor and running a successful Instagram account.

She wrote: "I do all the typical 'Insta-girl' stuff like swimwear, workout supplements and CBD products.

"But along with being a yoga instructor, I make enough money to live off, have no debts and can afford a nice vacation for my boyfriend and I."

Despite jetting off on a luxury holiday to Tulum in Mexico, the influencer claims her boyfriend "is furious" with her because she's banned him from appearing in any of the holiday photos she posts.

"I told him he can't be in the Instagram pictures because quite literally I don't get as many [point of sale] references to my companies when there's a guy in the pic," she wrote. "It's just a fact."

She added: "I need these pics from this vacation to be able to sell stuff. It's just the way my 'job' works."

In an attempt to lessen the blow, the woman has told her boyfriend he can take as "many private pics as he likes" such as them "hiking" and "laying by the pool" but insists she needs to keep her Instagram separate.

Needless to say, this hasn't gone down too well with her boyfriend and the woman claims they've only had "short, curt conversations" for the first two days they've been there.

Asking whether she is in the wrong, the woman concluded: "I'm really upset because I paid for this entire vacation only to be ignored and treated pretty crappy."

I told him he can't be in the Instagram pictures because quite literally I don't get as many point of sale references to my companies when there's a guy in the pic. I need these pics from this vacation to be able to sell stuff. It's just the way my 'job' works…

Unsurprisingly, the dilemma has sparked fierce debate in the comments – with users arguing over whether the woman's boyfriend was overreacting.

Jumping to the boyfriend's defence, one wrote: "He came for a vacation. You came for work.

"He has a right to be p***ed off that you are using this 'vacation' not to enjoy time with him and take a break but to further your brand online."

Another added: "Your Instagram profile is more important than your relationship? You could easily have 2 profiles, one private for family and friends, and one for your work.

"I'm sure there is more to your life than promoting whatever products you do."

Agreeing with the influencer, a third pointed out: "People can joke about 'Instagram models' all they want but if you make money out of it, it's a legit job. You're advertising products.

"It's comparable to you modelling for a magazine ad. And him wanting to be in Instagram pictures is just as ridiculous as if he'd want to model with you in a professional photoshoot."

Similarly, another wrote: "Simple answer is, you're going to make more money when he is in not in photos with you.

"That should be enough of an explanation for him to understand the situation and the fact that he is getting angry about it is a bit of a red flag to me."

In more influencer news, a blogger who teaches women how to bag a billionaire has said you should always eat BEFORE a dinner party and drink no more than ONE glass of wine.

And a pregnant blogger has been praised for choosing not to edit her "veiny" boobs in a baby bump picture.

Plus shoppers have slammed In The Style for using a "perfect" size 12 blogger for their body positive campaign – saying she's "too thin".
