WE’VE all been there, you’ve spent hours cooking a big meal perhaps for family or guests and then you're stuck with a mountain of washing up.
But with some many larger dishes it can be difficult to find space to properly dry them even if you have a dishwasher to help with the smaller items.
One cleaning fan has shared her solution to space saving issues in her home.
The cleaning fan who goes by @theamateurcleaner shared her hack in a TikTok video online.
She said: “Housekeeping tip.”
The cleaning fan said she uses the dishwasher to dry the larger items that she doesn't have space for on her drying rack.
She said: “Use the dishwasher as extra drying space for the items that do not fit in the dishwasher!”
The dishwasher is made to hold wet items so you don't have to worry about them dripping everywhere.
If you can, leave the dishwasher door open to help with the drying process.
Also when she has finished washing the larger dishes she loads up her dishwasher with the smaller items that can fit into her dishwasher easily.

The dishwashing hack gained over 32,000 views online.
Many viewers thought the space saving hack was a great idea.
One user said: “Genius.”
Another said: “I do this too, great minds.”
But one viewer said there was just one problem with her hack.
