I’m a 21-year-old teacher & got in trouble for wearing ‘inappropriate’ outfits to school, I don’t see what’s wrong
A STUDENT teacher has revealed how one outfit in particular caused her 'big trouble' at work as it was deemed inappropriate.
The 21-year-old, who lives in LA, shared nine outfits she wore to work and asked users which ones they think got her in trouble.
Mei Mei posted the video to her TikTok account, meimonstaa, where it has gone viral with more than three million views.
She shared nine outfits she had worn to work, and said four of them had violated the school's dress code.
Unfortunately for Mei Mei she said: "If I get dress coded one more time, I'm going to be kicked out of the programme."
But the popular TikToker left users stunned when she showed the apparently 'offensive' outfits, as many users couldn't see an issue with them.
She said: "If you haven't seen my recent videos, you wouldn't know that I've been getting dress coded recently.
"Four of these outfits have gotten me dress coded recently, guess which ones they are."

The first outfit got the green light at school, Mei Mei wore a floor length floral skirt with a cream turtleneck jumper.
Outfit number two was also deemed appropriate, she wore a silk white shirt and grey high-waisted trousers.
But the third outfit, was categorised as inappropriate to wear for school.
The 'offensive' ensemble was made up of a pair of high-waisted brown pants, a cream-coloured T-shirt with cactuses on it tucked in, and a cream-coloured cardigan over the top.
Mei Mei added: “I actually got in trouble for wearing this T-shirt because apparently you’re only supposed to wear T-shirts on Spirit Day."
Spirit Day is an annual LGBTQ awareness day held in October.
Outfit number four was also dress coded, she wore a beige coat, a grey turtle neck and leather-look leggins.
She said: "To be fair the leggings are kind of hit or miss but I got in really big trouble for this one."
The next look that caused an issue was a white, mid-length turtleneck dress with opaque black tights.
The teacher said she was wearing this exact outfit when she was dress coded for the second time.
While the teacher didn't show the final outfit she was dress coded for, she shared that if she was reported one more time, she would be kicked off the training programme.
Many people were shocked by the school's strict dress code and claimed Mei Mei's young age played a factor, one user wrote: "I feel like their constant dress coding is misogynistic and feels targeted."
Another person added: "They're just dress coding you because you're young. If an older woman at the school wore it they wouldn't care."
"The fact you can’t wear a T-shirt is a red flag." A third person commented.
