Idiots who forgot to wear sun cream during the heatwave show off their terrible sunburn fails
IT SEEMS that sunbathing weather is on hold for now, and that seems to be a good things for these sun worshippers.
People who foolishly ditched sun cream over the weekend have shown off their painful results on Twitter.
Lewis Reed, 27, from Brighton, went out for a picnic on the beach with his mum and didn’t wear any sunscreen saying he wasn’t fond of the “sticky” formula – but never thought his skin would get this burnt.
Lewis said he didn’t feel any burning sensation on his body at the time and stayed at the beach for about an hour and a half.
The 27-year-old was mortified when his legs turned bright red and began to peel and blister moments later.
Lewis shared a photo of his sunburned legs on Twitter, with the caption: “When people ask me why I want to sit in the shade I show them these photos”
The viral post prompted others to come forward to showcase their red-raw burns.
Chad shared a painful looking snap of his blistered foot joking, "Feet are well tanned anyway, proper toastie."
And Ciara clearly missed a spot after being burnt to a crisp despite wearing sun cream, tweeting "Do you ever just go outside in the sun with suncream on for two hours and this happens? Or just me?"
Meanwhile others compared their patchy tans to Drumstick lollies.
In other sun safety news, a mum has warned parents to patch test their sun cream after her daughter's severe allergic reaction.
And these are the seven best sun creams of 2020.
