I work at a restaurant and there's an easy way to tell if we want you to leave – customers never get the hint though | The Sun

EVER get the feeling your waiter wants you to leave sooner rather than later in a restaurant?

Well you might not be wrong, and it turns out there's something they do that proves it.

One waitress took to TikTok to reveal the subtle sign that shows your server has been waiting for you to leave.

Mariah (@tastyriah) shared a clip of herself recreating a scenario which is all to common for her.

She acted out what happens when a customer that's been there a bit too long asks for the bill to pay, but she pulls it straight out of her pocket for them.

The caption read: "Can I get the check?’ but I pull it out of my pocket because I’ve been waiting for you to gtfo of my section."
