A WOMAN has told how her at-home DIY moustache wax went so wrong that she was left looking like the Grinch.
When it comes to beauty treatments such as waxing, sometimes it's just worth paying that little more to see a professional – but that's something TikTok user Giselle (@giselleanayeli) found out the hard way.
The 20-year-old explained how she decided to DIY wax her top lip for the very first time – only, for it to end in total disaster.
In a clip shared online, she shows herself carefully applying two wax strips, before then pulling her skin tight and yanking them off.
"And it went like…" she says.
She's then seen with a huge red mark above her top lip and two nasolabial folds – the creases in your skin that extend from both sides of your nose to the corners of your mouth.

Giselle admitted that while she warmed the wax strips up in her hands before putting them on her face as advised, she left them on her face for "too long and they got cold."
She continued: "I applied an after-wax aloe gel & went to sleep & it was gone in the morning! I waxed my lip at 2 in the morning lol."

The post has since gone viral, racking up over 2.6 million views and hundreds of comments from very amused social media users – with many comparing her to the Grinch.
