A YOUNG woman has claimed that she managed to get rid of her wrinkles by making a clever diet change and washing her face THREE times in one go. 

Isabelle Lux is 31-years-old but is used to people thinking she is “much much younger”.


She divulged that she has “always been obsessed with her skincare routine” which has helped her reverse the physical signs of ageing. 

The content creator shared on Tik Tok all of the things she regrets and “did wrong” to her skin in her early 20s which caused wrinkles.

Now, her skin is glowing and wrinkle-free in her 30s.

As a disclaimer, she warned that her first tip might be a little bit sensitive.

Isabelle explained: “In my early 20s, I was on a big weight loss journey and I found it easiest to lose weight if I stopped eating all fats.

“That was the biggest mistake I have ever made for my beauty, for my skin and for my health.”

She wouldn’t cook her food in any oil and steered clear of nuts due to their high fat content.

She continued: “Our bodies need fat and if they don’t get it, they’re going to take it from your skin.”

“And if your face is the single last place your body can find it, it’s going to suck it dry.

“I had wrinkles all over my face when I was in my early 20s and that is not a joke.”

Isabelle claimed she had wrinkles throughout her crows feet, around her eyes and across her face when she smiled. 

However, she said “these days it’s the exact opposite” because she incorporates fat into her diet every day and it has made her skin glow. 

Fans of Isabelle were desperate to see a before shot of her skin but unfortunately she didn’t post one.

One asked: “Can I see a picture of you before? I trust what you say but I want to see your progress and work.”

She instead let her results do the talking as she continued explaining her tips to reverse your wrinkles.

The second mistake Isabelle highlighted was putting oil directly onto her skin after cleansing.

She questioned: “What is that doing?

“I think people don’t understand the fundamental basics of skincare.

“You need to hydrate your skin and once it’s hydrated, you can use oils and other occlusives to lock that hydration in.”

According to Isabelle, without using serums and moisturisers first, the oil can’t penetrate your skin in the way it needs to. 

When she was using oil wrong in her 20s, it was just sitting on her skin and causing breakouts. 

Isabelle’s third and final tip was to wash your face THREE times rather than once.

She explained: “The third thing is underestimating the value of a good triple cleanse.

“If you think about it, when you’re cleansing at night it’s not just to clean your skin – it’s also to prep and prime it for all those active ingredients that are going to be going on top.”

She added that cleaning your face thoroughly – which she regards as three times – wastes money because the products you’re putting on top are “going to waste”.
