I was so happy with my new acrylics… but then I got home and realised the big mistake my nail gal had made | The Sun
A WOMAN who asked for long acrylic nails didn’t realise she'd gotten more than she’d bargained for until later that night.
And it turns out, the beauty blunder is a common mistake that some women hope will happen to them.
When at the salon with her regular nail tech, Kailey asked for long acrylics with a pink sheerness to them.
On top, she had a milky marble design with a gentle glittery finish.
And while the final result was stunning, there was something off about the nails that she didn’t realise until night fell.
The nails had been done with glow in the dark acrylic.

Kailey took to TikTok to laugh about the blunder in a series of now-viral videos.
“My nail tech accidentally used glow in the dark acrylic and I didn’t realise until I got home,” she penned over one video.
“Them thangs GLOWING,” the caption read. “Still fire regardless.”
It turns out that glow in the dark nails aren’t a unique experience for Kailey and it has happened to a number of other women.

Others described it as a “win” for Kailey, as most nail technicians charge extra for glow in the dark designs.
“I love it when I do this by accident,” one woman said.
Kailey showed how the nails produced a green glow when in pitch black in another video.
One woman was less fortunate with her nail blunder and vowed to never "cheat" on her nail tech following a total nail fail.
The 27-year-old, who goes by Anxa, walked out of the nail salon almost in tears when the design was “butchered”.
