A WOMAN has revealed that she turned a dusty old caravan that she bought online into a stunning nail studio.

Known on TikTok as @ny_nyashaa, the nail technician from Leeds, explained that she impulsively bought a caravan from Facebook Marketplace for £400.

The woman and her uncle spent two months giving the tired caravan a transformation and have since turned it into a beautiful, cosy nail studio.

The DIY whizz shared her video to the social media app, just nine hours ago, with the caption ‘Longest 2 months of my life.’

She said: “So this is how I turned this dusty old caravan into a nail studio.

“This was the first day I got it – I found this caravan on Facebook Marketplace for £400 and I was like oh my god, what a shout.

“Pure impulse and delusion – I don’t know what I was thinking.

“I started ripping it out, trying to see the vision and open up the space a bit.

“At this point it was literally just me working on it but then my uncle came to the rescue.

“He came from South Africa, not just for the caravan, he just came in general but he basically plastered, painted, primed the walls, everything here on out is basically just me and him.

“It was absolutely baltic, every single day it was frozen over, I do not know why I decided to do this in December.

“I woke up and thought, I’m going to do some DIY panelling, and it’s not that it’s hard but it’s just expensive.

“I don’t know why I thought these planks were £1 each, they are like £5 each.

“Then I’ve got beef with B&Q because the colour on the paint tin is never the same as when you paint on the cupboard, but at this point, I couldn’t care less.

“So the walls were in, it was painted, the cupboards were in.

“The main jobs to do at this point were the countertop, the plumbing stuff and the electrics.

“I got the countertop and the sink installed but I’ve still not got a tap and the plumbing, but yeah that’s coming at some point.”

The woman explained that when she went furniture shopping, she was shocked at how much everything would cost.

She added: “This is the day that I definitely underestimated the most, I don’t know why I just didn’t consider how much it was gonna cost me to furnish this whole thing the exact way I wanted it.

“But this was the day after when everything went in.

“To be fair I absolutely love it and it was definitely a trust the process kind of thing, but it looks way better than what I thought it was going to anyway,

“All the electrics are wired up from the house so it’s all sorted and it’s basically ready to work from.

“Who would have thought?!”

From drab to fab, the caravan is now beautifully chic and has been decorated with neutral tones.

Her video has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 185.4k views.
