I found a family-friendly beach in UK's second city – with funfair, deckchairs & water features | The Sun
A MAN has revealed that he has found the ultimate family-friendly beach in the UK’s second city.
So if you live in or near Birmingham, or fancy taking a trip there for the day with your kids this summer, you’ll want to head down to Birmingham Beach – the ultimate place for a fun day out.
The new sandy spot opened last month and is run by Birmingham-based Danter Attractions.
Complete with deckchairs, roller coasters, games and dodgems, there’s plenty to do to ensure your little darlings have a fabulous day out.
Not only this, but there’s also food vendors selling snacks, ice creams and drinks, which all add to the holiday vibe.
Aside from the 500 tonnes of sand, there’s even a pool for children with slides and water features.

The TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @onlyonecaptain, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 37,100 views.
But social media users were left divided at the video – while some were eager to visit, others who had been before weren’t so positive.
One user tagged a friend and noted: “Let's go when I'm back.”
Whilst another mentioned a loved one and shared: “Look at this!!!”
However, at the same time, someone else said: “£4 a ride, if not more, went last year..never again. Staff on each ride didn't know how to smile but they did with others.”
