I bought lost cargo from Shein – there were more expensive brands hidden underneath, I bagged clothes worth $13,000 | The Sun

A FASHION YouTuber bought lost cargo from Shein — she ended up receiving more expensive clothes worth over $13,000 underneath.

Hope, a fashion YouTuber, shared the haul video with over 2 million subscribers.

"Every single one of us has had something lost in the mail, but what happens when an entire shipment of cargo packages gets lost or goes unclaimed?" she asked.

"This is what happens when merchandise gets shipped but then gets lost or goes unclaimed…. they go to an auction where other people can buy them for super cheap!"

"I bought a huge mystery box to see what treasures we can find."

The YouTuber explained that she had won an online auction for unclaimed Shein packages but had won more than what she expected.

She won the 300-pound mystery box for $700 and $57 sales tax, paying a total of $757 for the loot.

After driving to the warehouse and loading all the packages into the back of her car, Hope and her husband loaded all the clothing into their apartment.

Immediately, the two discovered a Fear of God Essentials hoodie worth $105.

On top of the hoodie, Hope found garments from Princess Polly, including silk dresses and purses worth $50 a piece.

Other brands included Fabletics, with leggings worth $69, Nike with a Jordan hoodie find valued at $60, Champion, and Adidas.

The haul even included formal wear, with a few ballroom dresses and sexier pieces.

Of course, there were tons of Shein pieces in the haul, with sweaters and hoodies galore.

The two sorted the huge haul into piles to keep, donate, and trash for the pieces that were destroyed.

"The stuff that I kept for myself totaled up to about $3,000 and the total of the items that I'm going to try to resell is $7,740," she said.

"In total, there was probably about $13,000 worth of stuff in this box."

People took to the comments to share their thoughts on the haul.
