Celebs Go Dating stars' amazing transformations including Amy Hart's £20,000 makeover and Amy Childs' serious makeunder
CELEBS Go Dating has returned to our screens with a whole host of familiar faces looking for love, or in this case not so familiar faces.
The single stars of the 2020 E4 series may be household names, but they have given themselves a serious reinvention when it comes to their appearance.
From the occasional nip and tuck to a whole new wardrobe and a body to boot we reveal the jaw dropping transformations of the Celebs Go Dating cast.
AMY CHILDS
TOWIE veteran Amy Childs has easily had the most dramatic transformation of the celebs.
Making her reality TV debut back in 2010, Amy, 29, was famed for her tumbling cherry red extensions and signature “trout pout.”
But ten years on Amy is almost completely unrecognisable swapping her Essex girl glamour for a more natural look.
At the height of her TOWIE fame Amy was having regular fillers, as well as a boob job that eventually left her disfigured and lying on a hospital bed with a botched breast implant while a doctor told her she might not wake up.
She now admits, “I wish I’d never had it done” having had her ruptured F cup implants removed.
She also had corrective treatement to have her filler removed, but a burst blood vessel means that some of Amy’s filler can not be dislodged.
Mum Amy recently unveiled a two stone weight loss following the birth of her second child, losing her “mum tum” in six months with the help of 20 minute work outs.
AMY HART
Love Island alumni Amy Hart has come a long way from her air hostess days, previously admitting to spending a phenomenal £20,000 on surgery before joining the show.
Amy, 27, treated herself to a complete overhaul with new boobs, pearly white veneers and glamorous blonde hair extensions.
However, the star had a complete turnaround after leaving the villa last summer.
She swapped her extensions for a chic choppy bob and revealed that she is planning further surgery on her teeth after feeling “insecure” over her smile.
She also claimed she would like to have her boobs “redone at some point.”
But despite being open to more surgery, she insists that she would “never touch her face” avoiding Botox at all costs.
ALISON HAMMOND
The This Morning presenter first became a household name back in 2002 when she joined the Big Brother house.
And since then Alison’s career and style has gone from strength to strength with the mum ditching her jeans and t-shirt uniform for curve hugging ensembles and on-trend prints.
Alison, 45, has also recently unveiled a dramatic physical transformation with her impressive weight loss seeing fans mistake her for Beyoncé.
She was unveiled as a Weight Watchers ambassador back in April when she came in at 20-stone on the scales.
While Alison’s weight loss in not known she has previously admitted that she would like to shrink down to 12 stone.
OLIVIA BENTLEY
The Made in Chelsea star doesn’t look hugely different from her Made in Chelsea heyday, but one dramatic change has been in the star’s hair.
Liv, as she is known as by friends, has showcased a long flowing blonde style for her appearance on the dating show.
The 24-year-old had previously opted for an ice cropped look while on the show, but recently revealed she had been forced to stick to shorter styles due to her alopecia.
Liv bravely opened up about the condition revealing that she dyed her hair blonde in her teens to help disguise her receding hair line.
JOSHUA RITCHIE
Joshua Ritchie is best known for his tremulous relationship with Charlotte Crosby, and while he hasn’t changed much since their split he certainly has scrubbed up since his early TV days.
Many of us will have long forgotten the stars of 2015 Love Island, but a fresh faced Josh was one of them.
Age just 20 at the time, Josh had yet to grow his signature beard and his famous quiff was not reaching much height.
Five years later, Josh has added some maturity to his look in the form of hipster stubble and a well-groomed tash.
JAMES LOCK
Another member of the TOWIE year book, James Lock does not appear strikingly different from his early reality TV days.
But the star has admitted to having a fair amount of work done in order to maintain his chiselled features.
In 2018 he revealed he had undergone £5,000 corrective ear surgery in a bid to overhaul his image.
He also had a £6,000 hair transplant to bring his hairline forward to silence vile Twitter trolls who said he "looked like Hitler."
DEAN GAFFNEY
First gracing our screens as Robbie Jackson in EastEnders in 1993, it is no surprise that Dean Gaffney is looking a little different almost 30 years on.
The actor still possesses the same cheeky chappy smile but his corkscrew curls have made way for several hair transformations over the years.
Toying briefly with a curtain fringe before moving on to boyband blonde highlights, Dean has now settled in a natural salt and pepper shade as he hopes to find love.
MALIQUE THOMPSON-DWYER
The 21-year-old telly hunk rose to fame in 2016 as Prince McQueen on Hollyoaks and before that he starred in BBC series The Dumping Ground.
Out of the eight celebs Malique has changed the least, still sporting the stylish cropped afro as he was back in his soap years.
Malique has clearly been conscientious when it comes to his workouts having added some bulk to his frame over the years.
